Research Data Scotland (RDS) welcomed a range of data users from partner organisations, research institutions and government to its latest User Forum held on Wednesday 28 September.
The recording from that session, which was held on Zoom, can now be viewed on viewed on YouTube.

- Key points from Research Data Scotland’s latest strategy and business plan
- The latest developments of the researcher access service – including plans for establishing user testing group that will help RDS test and evaluate features, content and functionality of the service as it develops. Subscribe to our mailing list to find out when the group is launched.
- Plans for the data team, which included:
- focusing on current agreements with data controllers
- plans for using synthetic data – sign up for our synthetic data workshop on Tuesday 22 Nov to find out more and you'll have a chance to help us develop synthetic datasets that fit user needs.
- demonstrator projects such as the equalities research dataset, which is being used by the Scottish Legal Aid Board
