    This data can be used to identify causes of death. As this data does not originate from the health service, it is not originally CHI seeded. From approx. 2015 onwards, the data was supplied with CHI number, though only covering around 95% of the data. Prior to 2015, and for those records supplied with no CHI an automated mechanism which identifies over 90% of the records is used to CHI seed. This is further augmented by manual data entry. Due to these procedures, this dataset does not necessarily represent all deceased persons.
